Aboite Animal Clinic

Dr. Gupta and his team at Aboite Animal clinic have not only went above and beyond once, but twice for our bernedoodle, Hank. I know when I leave him in their care that he is in great hands, no matter the situation. The first time Hank needed surgery he was not a patient’s of Dr. Gupta, but he stayed late on a Friday night and it was his birthday to give our dog the surgery and care he needed. This is our third time around with the same situation and I know he has been given the best care just like the first time. Every time we go in, Ayana (not sure if I spelled her name right) is always very informative and very caring towards our dog. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Gupta and his team!! Definitely top notch care and customer service! 💯

My family has a labradoodle named Dulce and we’ve been taking her here for the past few years and they’ve always done a superb job at taking care of our dog! Dulce has a lot of allergies and starts to go downhill whenever she’s super anxious and at one point in time it got so bad that we thought we might lose her. Aboite staff did all they could to ensure that she would recover and we were given back the dog that we view to be a member of the family and we couldn’t be more thankful for their efforts! Thank you again for always doing all that you could during any given visit from the bottom of our hearts!

Took our baby (our 5 year old cat) Peanut in to get an emergent surgery that the NIVES clinic quoted $4500 to do, and they kept telling my wife that our cat would not make it past Monday if she didn't get the surgery. We were recommended by our main trusted vet clinic to bring her to Aboite Clinic and see what they can do. We called on a Monday and were able to get our Peanut into surgery that evening. Aboite Clinic was able to do the surgery, and even allowed my wife and I to visit Peanut while she was there (my wife definitely took advantage of that), and said Peanut was happy and meowing to see her! Peanut is currently doing amazing thanks to Aboite Clinic, and she is getting her stitches out tomorrow! We can't thank you guys enough for getting our Peanut back to her normal happy self!!!

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!! I brought my dog here to be put down due to old age. It was one of the hardest decisions ive ever had to make but i knew it was his time. Well after Dr. Gupta did the deed, I asked for a few moments alone with my dead best friend. Dr Gupta then proceeded to come back in the room approximately every 5 minutes to try and rush me out of there. I wouldn't wish for anyone to have to put their dog down under those circumstances. Absolutely zero compassion for the animal or the owner. Well, against my better judgment, I brought my other dog here again after he became lethargic and stopped eating one day. The vet techs did a very simple physical exam and sent me home with basic antibiotics and a diagnosis that he had just hurt his back because he collapsed to the ground when they applied pressure to his back. I expressed multiple times that I felt it was something more serious because I know my animals and their behavior, but this was all they would do at the time. Fast forward a couple days later and my dog still won't eat and is still extremely lethargic. Then one morning as he is walking down my stairs, an abscess bursts open on his back draining the most pus and blood I have ever seen in my life and leaving a massive wound about the size of a golf ball on his back. So I immediately bring him back to aboite animal clinic where Dr. Gupta then accuses me of being a negligent pet owner. Dr Gupta then proceeds to tell me that my dog will need to stay overnight at his office for a few days on stronger antibiotics until the wound heals up. Well over the next 2 weeks, Dr. Gupta let my dog rot away in his office while 2 more very large abscesses burst on his body before he finally referred me to the animal hospital at Purdue in lafayette. I brought my dog there that same day, just for them to tell me that he was too far gone and euthanasia would be his best option at this point. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!! He let my dog rot away until it was too late and charged me thousands in the process.
